These are carried out on both residential and commercial buildings
normally at pre-purchase stage and will assess the structural integrity
of the premises. This will include looking for settlement
which applies to the failure of the components of the building,
subsidence meaning where the building is damaged
by a failure in the ground, and analysing structural defects and
damage caused, making an analysis of observations with assessments,
and recommendations on preventative measures where possible.
